Lincoln Johnson, founder, joined the workforce in 1978 after marrying his high school sweetheart. He started working with great HVAC companies, where he became an expert in the field. When the opportunity arose, in 1997, he started Malibu Air Co. Named after the city where his sister lives, and known for their perfect climate, he wanted Malibu Air to be more than just a company... he wanted it to be a family legacy. To Lincoln, family has always been the absolute most important thing. His dreams came true when his only son, Bram, joined forces at a young age and adapted the same work ethic.

The bond that Bram and Lincoln share resignates throughout the company. Their friendship and expertise make them an unchallengeable duo. 

Malibu Air Company, started in 1997, has grown into a family owned and operated business. The vision of the company has always been to be a trustworthy, reliable company; not a money driven juggernaut. 

Malibu Air has been trusted to work in hospitals, senior care facilities, malls, and airports. The high security clearance required to operate and drive on ramps and perimeter roads at Dallas area airports is a testament to the competency of its owners. 

Specializing in commercial size equipment, including chillers, boilers, walk-in restaurant coolers, etc., Malibu Air has grown mainly as a commercial company. However, by an overwhelming disappointment in other companies in our industry, Bram has recently refocused his attention to customer relations with our residential department. 

Over the last few years, we have received dozens of service calls asking for a replacement quote after another company had told them that a full changeout was necessary. We arrived to find a simple serviceable part had gone bad, and in most cases were able to have the unit operating for less than $100. It dawned on us that most companies had turned into salesmen... not servicemen, and something in our industry needed to be changed.
